The bride has to be presented two oranges and feel them. I think it has to do with some fertility superstition. Actually, I just made that up, I don't know why they need to be felt. They did, however, roll my brother in bed at 3:10 am the day of the wedding, so that their kid will be "as smart as Richard."
... I've been the flower girl at three weddings and never got asked to be rolled in bed at 3:10 am. HMMMMMM.

My cousin Hansen got married on April 19th, and it was a really beautiful and moving wedding ceremony. I met a million relatives who apparently only saw me when I was an inch tall. If you think about it, that means I puh-robably drooled on more than half the room. Anyway, thinking back on Betty's wedding and now Hansen's... I'm so happy they've each found love. The romantic in me still firmly believes it's really all you need.
