That's an impossible price for fish!

The algae and cyanobacteria smelled. 太湖 is the third largest freshwater lake in China... and is notorious for its polluted waters.

We squeezed in an impromptu trip to Wuxi before school started for Richard and Sunny. Richard and I decided the hotel was perfect. There's not too much to do in Wuxi, but we went to the countryside and to a temple, and it was very classic, Chinese-scenery pretty. It would have been lovely to live in China centuries ago, when the land was untouched. I'm willing to bet that some of the prettiest places in the world are in the countrysides of China.

Oh, and Richard's feet look like clown feet in these photographs -- kind of super funny.
