First year of college is officially over and I'm in Los Angeles. Due to my own stupidity, I didn't do enough research to realize that my passport expires in August, and a visa can only be granted to passports with more than three months left on the passport. Soooo, in the past few days, I've had to apply for a passport renewal, reapply for a visa, and also go to the DMV to get my official California ID, since I'm now over 18 and have to have my own ID in order to renew the passport. Betty's been more than kind and patient with me to take me to all these places. I feel bad, but at least it's a lesson learned.
