Since Lia and I were newly single, the two of us -- and Christine and Alyce -- decided to ditch the idea of boys and go stag for our senior prom. We got our nails and hair done at the Esprit Salon and had a delicious dinner at Haiku, where we indulged in amazing sushi rolls and the best beer in the world, aka Tsingtao (in the bottle, not the can -- it makes a difference). I thought the dresses we designed this year were considerably nicer, too, compared to our junior prom here. Anyway, it was held at the Hilton's Penthouse, and Christine's mother was nice enough to get us a room at the Hilton for the night/afterparty. We were economical and fit over 10 people on the bed.
